Job itself was rewarding but not the management

Work with great people and work in a very challenging yet rewarding role.

Cons

If you're working for the COO, you will be very unhappy. She will make your life hell, put you down and is very demeaning. There is not enough guidance and you are expected to figure things out on your own. Some lawyers do not have good intentions and are very difficult to work with. You work weekends and evenings overtime but you are not acknowledged for all your hard work. If you get overtime sheet signed, the manager will not look happy doing it.

Mid-size firm so the opportunity is there to meet mostly everyone; beautiful offices; excellent location in downtown Toronto; everyone is friendly and helpful; stellar HR Manager; great lawyers and staff to work with; positive feel to the whole environment; excellent systems training; great selection of coffee and tea offered; casual Fridays.
