Pros

Paid time off (separate vacation and sick leave), work-life balance, union membership for classified positions, hybrid (can work from home up to 3 days per week), great benefits

Cons

very little room for growth, despite them touting that, some managers can be oppressive and show favoritism, some coworkers will lie and get others in trouble for their mistakes and management doesn't care, low pay scale and if it's a union position, they must be followed, no room for raises for going above and beyond, goes by a step system
