You will make phenomenal connections and meet people who are also very connected. It is a great place to learn at a very fast pace.
Cons
Public salaries are not very high and the opportunities for advancement are few and far between.

The work you will do at the Legislative Auditors is constantly changing, which makes it challenging, but keeps things interesting. It provides a really good experience to expand your knowledge on several types of audits and to learn more about the state's government.
Cons
Unfortunately the pay is not a up to par with what auditors can get in public companies, otherwise I have no complaints.
