Pros

Lower level employees really work together well. Sports can be a blast to work around Good for self starters

Cons

Long hours, work several weekends No Playoff Bonus, if the company does well, expect nothing in return No opportunity to grow, most mid and upper managers have been there since the beginning and won't be leaving any time soon Not very good moral Stagnant culture

A company that needs a refresh

Pros

1. There is a lot of inter-team loyalty. 2. Clear passion for hockey and supporting the community outside of the organization.

Cons

1. There are limited growth opportunities within the company. I was lied to when I took this job about this aspect. 2. Many women experience bullying and sexism in the workplace. It's awkward to report and HR has not acted on any notification that I am aware of. 3. People in their roles do not leave even when their skills and experiences do not match what is needed in the role. 4. Overall inflexibility in thoughts, ideals and strategies. 5. A siloed work environment. 6. One role has to do the work of many people and are often paid well below market value. 7. Paid time off is not encouraged and lack of coverage does not allow for certain roles to use their paid time off. And they will not pay you out on any unused PTO when you exit the organization.

Pros

Fun atmosphere, great coworkers and allows you to get into the action.

Cons

Terrible pay, low even for pro sports standards. Work/Home life balance was non-existent and there is no opportunity for growth within the company
