Need a phylisophical change for management

Pros

The vision of the original owners, the training program, the families and children, some of the teachers who have the right heart

Cons

The great divide between management and centers - they assume the worst and treat staff like mis-behaving children rather than professional. Pay is a non-livable rate (often minimum wage) even for this industry. Staff turnover is extremely high, positions are often not filled. Unfortunately, the management is running this family run company into the ground.

Been there for a year with no raise Pay is low, even with a degree Won't work with schedule Got "promoted" but still have the same pay Equipment is falling apart and toys are old Kids aren't always learning things Can't keep employees because of pay and drama

You get to work with children.

Cons

A crazy amount of demands are placed on you, and no support is provided to help you meet those demands. You are expected to monitor and document developmental milestones, write and implement lesson plans, create materials for your class to utilize, and run your classroom simultaneously. And you are compensated poorly for all of your hard work.
