I worked at Mission Australia full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Wonderful team environment, passionate people, dedicated staff, fun office, people who were really inspired by what the work they were doing, wonderful workplace flexibility, and management who are genuinely and incredibly supportive of staff going back to Uni, taking time off to spend time with kids, see them win awards at school, very family friendly environment and focused on work/life balance

    Cons

Limited opportunity to progress, seemingly a lot of money (in a place that had very limited budgets) spent on training for middle management while other staff were often denied small training requests, general career stagnation, lower pay than other industries

    Advice to Management

Such a wonderful organisation in so many ways and your staff are so engaged in so many ways, encourage the staff you have to progress through their careers more and encourage them to excel
