Pros

Everyone under upper management is really a great person. Its the upper management that is the problem. They pit employees against each other to fuel negative, unnecessary drama. You can bring your dog to the office, if the CEO isn't there. Beautiful downtown office, filled with piles of dog clothing.

Cons

Ha, where to begin. As reviews say below you are on an i-phone leash. There are NO 3 day weekends and the schedule is NOT flexible. Upper management is not respectful of employees valuable time. People were over worked and stressed the hell out, over dog clothes!!! No amount of company dinners or free snacks are worth the drama and negativity. it's really pathetic that the company hires people to make it look good when it's just a drain on your soul. Most designs are knock offs, and designers pump out literally hundreds of designs. Quality is lost in the unnecessary quantity demanded by the CEO, not the retailers. It is EXTREMELY rare to be recognized for you hard work. People are afraid to ask for what they deserve.

Pros

Only work here if you have no other options. It beats eating out of garbage cans.

Cons

Horrible management, abusive, long hours. The owner has a charming habit of screaming at people at the top of her lungs. THE WORST PLACE I EVER WORKED.

Pros

High turnover rate means you meet lots of new people! Monthly cupcakes!

Cons

It is clear to anyone familiar with simply she that all positive reviews on this site are written by the CEOin an attempt to improve the company's online image to attract more talent to the revolving door of employees. Look closely, people don't be fooled. And then there is this quote from one of the dummy reviews: "There are several people (or possibly just one) on Glassdoor making complaints. It might be because they don't feel heard otherwise." An attempt to discredit the genuine reviews by insinuating that they are all the work of 1 disgruntled employee. Anyways if you think this glassdoor site is dramatic just wait until you see what goes on in the office! It's like working in a sorority house mixed with survivor set on a volcanic island, you never know where the next explosion will come from or who will be burned. Tears, constant firings, hirings, and managerial regime changes, constant emergencies, petty power plays... the ceo enjoys the dramatic atmosphere she creates, openly encouraging backstabbing and rewarding gossip. The truth is that it can be a toxic place to work. Many quality people do their best but it is an up hill battle. You are expected to work late often and take no breaks. People are overstressed and hard work is not rewarded. I decided to write this review because I believe what the ceo is doing with her "dummy" reviews is wrong. Taking a job is a huge decision that will affect your quality of life, don't lie to people or attempt to discredit the experiences of those you have hurt for personal gain. Some people find a way to make the job work for them but most leave asap. The negative reviews are honest, consider them carefully before working here.
