Pros

Hybrid schedule and an average benefit package

Cons

The company environment is highly hierarchical, with limited trust and autonomy granted to employees. Individuals are generally expected to follow direction rather than contribute ideas, which discourages innovation and engagement. Collaboration is further hindered by siloed departments and inconsistent communication across teams. A significant challenge is the lack of accountability. Raising concerns is often met with negative labeling, which creates an environment where issues go unaddressed. Communication, processes, and expectations are inconsistent, frequently resulting in unnecessary rework and frustration. This reactive, “shoot-from-the-hip” approach was one of the most impactful challenges I experienced. Many managers lack sufficient subject matter expertise and, in some cases, do not fully understand the processes they oversee. This contributes to inefficiencies, rework of tasks, unclear direction, and reduced overall effectiveness.
