Pros

No Pros. Worst company ever.

Cons

I recently had the unfortunate experience of working for this organization and I have to say it was the worst job I have ever had. The company culture is incredibly uncaring and unorganized. The management team seems to have no regard for their employees and it shows in their layoff practices. People are let go without warning and without any regard for the impact it has on their lives. In addition, there is no room for growth within the organization. The management team lacks vision and there is a complete lack of stability. I was constantly worried about my job security and whether I would be next on the chopping block. I would not recommend working for this organization to anyone. If you value stability, growth, and being treated with respect, you should steer clear of this company. Do not waste your time and energy here. Run, run far away. WORST CEO AND WORST HR.

Pros

In the beginning, everything was great. Fantastic coworkers, great starting pay, welcoming management, constructive feedback, promotion potential; just to name a few. I do believe in giving a fair review, thus will say their benefits and time off plan (at least while I was working there) were the best in the business.

Cons

Though COVID took a huge hit on the company, management failed time and again to reconstruct our structure to work. An ungrateful board of directors (now chaired by a previous CEO who tore us apart from the inside) constantly demanded revenue to be higher. However, they kept refusing to approve new-hires in any department, refused to pay those already hired a decent wage for the work needed, and continued to promote and support toxic and unhealthy leadership practices that spread through the entire director department. Every so often, a gold star employee works here. And they fight tooth and nail to make MTI a good company; every day, working with all employees below them to improve the company from the ground up. But it seems the current board and new CEO are allergic to proper business practice and would rather see the company fail while pocketing as much money and paid-for-vacations as they can. Do. Not. Work. For. This. Company.

Pros

The direct team you work with will probably be great because you are all being underpaid and taken advantage of by your managers and the company. Uniting against a common enemy so to speak.

Cons

There are no standards or guidelines for anything so no one can be held accountable for anything. The managers are grossly incompetent and usually make more issues than the ones you are trying to fix due to the fact that the company let's their clients walk all over them. You are always stuck cleaning up other people's messes because no one sticks around long enough to make things run smoothly. Your day consists of running from fire drill to fire drill and when you try to improve processes you get steamrolled by your managers. I actually enjoyed the work itself, despite being lied to about my pay, but it's the toxic environment the managers have created through fear and passive aggressiveness that makes this a terrible place to work.
