Pros

I can't think of one pro.

Cons

Horrible company to work for. Furniture is beat up, out of date, out of style and tacky. They claim to be the largest home staging company in the country but that's simply NOT TRUE!! Very unorganized and unprofessional. Their "stagers" are not trained nor do they have a creative eye. I was embarrassed for my clients.

It is truly unfortunate when a person hired is incompetent, incapable, and irresponsible. Their actions, or lack thereof, results in dismissal, unhappiness and they ultimately blame others instead of accepting responsibility for their own actions, or lack thereof. Model My Home strives to hire great people, who work hard to serve others, to make a difference in the community, and avoid selfishness. This particular employee had issues that the company tried hard to work with and help them. It is unfortunate. BTW, they also broke and continue to break their non-compete. I expect nothing less than bad reviews from a person of this calibre. Model My Home Staged almost a 1000 homes in 2014. No other company of record Stages this many homes in a year. All of our team is trained by a recognized industry leader and on-going, advanced training is available to anyone on the team if they want to take advantage of the training. Unorganized? How can a company with a few employees who Stage this many homes be unorganized? To the casual observer - maybe - but this is a finely tuned instrument, making things happen daily all over the Metroplex. The non-creative don't last in this industry - we have been in business going on 14 years - I think we pass the test. Don't be distracted by this persons views. We didn't let a bad apple spoil us, you shouldn't either.

Not nice to stagers

Pros

Other contract stagers are nice

Cons

Stagers don't last long....rare for one to be there more than 6 to 9 months as they all get frustrated and leave....the place is a revolving door. Extreme favoritism in giving out job assignments with the salaried office staff taking all of the good jobs to make extra money...if stager isn't office staff (or close personal friend of owner), jobs will be scarce, communication will be extremely poor, and general 'vibe' will be that you don't matter to them and they can always hire some new contract stagers so be quiet and go away if you don't like it. I think the ',ingest-lasting stager(who isn't also salaried employee) at company has been around 9 months and there's not a chance she's gonna survive to the one year mark.
