Pros

Company Car Decent Bonus Opportunity OK Salary

Cons

Horribly run company from the ground up Continually messes up pay/commissions Arrogance - unicorn company Unsafe branches Terrible Benefits Complacency throughout sales organization No innovation Worst computer systems I have ever used ( AMBIT) High School Drama in Branches Micro Managing Fleet on last legs - horrible condition No quality No customer service I went against the grain here and I was swiftly moved out of the role. This company thrives on doing things "the way they have always been done". They will run out of capital, products and find themselves soon to be over taken by better regional providers. STAY AWAY!

Pros

Company focused on doing the right thing for the customer by providing quality products and services. Employees treated fairly and with respect. Sales goals are obtainable if you put in the effort. Management has an open door policy and listens. Promotion from within, I know over a dozen members of inside sales team who have been promoted. Ongoing training and support by management and peers. Generous paid time off policy. Good work life balance.

Cons

Commission program could be simpler and since the company is growing more of an investment in inventory.

Pros

Nice office building, convenient location, decent training when it's consistent.

Cons

Where to begin....If you work here as a sales rep you are viewed as merely a money making machine for upper management. Sales in the construction industry will never be consistently on an upswing but reps are expected to churn out stellar performances no matter what the economic conditions are - pretty unrealistic. Rather than wasting enormous amounts of money on fly by the seat of your pants marketing campaign schemes that seem to be pet favorites/personal hobbies of upper management, why not invest in some solid back office systems so sales are not bogged down with paperwork and admin tasks that take up large chunks of time? Or better yet ask the sales team what they think will work to increase sales. Get rid of all the outdated paperwork & cumbersome software systems. All of this would free up funds to invest in the fleet which needs some serious refurbishment. Solutions to the companies woes seem obvious to everyone except upper management. Layoffs where good employees have been treated poorly by withholding commissions & bonuses is just tacky and unethical and would be basically unnecessary if management fostered a solid long term plan for the company instead of knee-jerk reactions.
