Pros

Wonderful clients, great vision and mission for the company, prior flexibility (Which is no longer)

Cons

Poor management, no accountability, reaction based, fear based management, HORRIBLE PAY (you can work in a fast food restaurant or basically anywhere now for more money- they don’t even pay minimum wage), top heavy, executive staff makes bank and flaunts it (Facebook should be banned for the execs who show flashy cars purchased with cash while the worker bees get paid less than minimum wage). Division Managers with no experience; company is floundering, and imploding now that facilitators are back in person and staff cannot be retained.

Pros

Flexible schedule, but you will be working long hours, 7 days a week , for a meager compensation.

Cons

Piecemeal pay. The work is never ending. The company is deeply flawed. You will be paid a flat rate of $20 to visit a client, no matter if you drive 50 miles plus, and oftentimes you will. There is no per diem, no gas allowance, no travel time allowance, and with each client come A LOT of work. There is intricate and complicated Medicaid paper work to constantly be completed, and a constant battle of fiscal agent work to be done. I left this company with 194 clients, multiply that by their families and caregivers who will need constant guidance with Medicaid and their fiscal agent. Stay far away from this company because you will being doing a tremendous amount of work that you will not be paid for. I deeply regret wasting my time with Moms In Motion. I have never felt so used in a job.

Pros

Assisting special needs families as they navigate the VA Medicaid Waiver.

Cons

Moms in Motion, a supposed advocacy company, is going to require you to sign a 5 page (FIVE page!!!) non compete contract before you begin working for them. What they will not do is reimburse your gas, mileage, data plan, or pay you for mandatory quarterly meetings at remote locations. You will only be paid for the visits you do and not for any "office work" like completing paperwork and responding to the several emails, texts, and phone calls you will get daily. This company has lost site of its original mission and has become all about the profits and the numbers, not the families.
