Pros
This company is a sinking ship.
Cons
The CEO is Elon Musk-Light... and that's not a good thing. If you're the flavor of the week, he might listen to your ideas. If you are too negative but have the willingness to look out for the company, not just the CEO's feelings and offer up valid constructive feedback about the way teams work, he will not listen to you despite wanting to be part of product management without any real connection to the work the teams are doing. The product team has no business being a team. They don't understand basic product management responsibilities, how to utilize the UX work, or how to work with the Engineering teams without throwing both under the bus when they don't know how to do their job. The UX team also doesn't understand basic UX principles. It's glorified graphic design with a splash of front end UI. UX Leadership does not champion for their employees, which is even worse. For a data-driven company, this team does zero research. Software managers and engineers are leaving at an alarming rate. People who haven't left yet are likely planning their exit strategy as I type this review. The company is very "light" aka there is no concern or care for making a diverse and inclusive work place. There is no culture, there isn't even HR to take any concerns or complaints to, though I imagine if there was, you'd probably just be fired for expressing those thoughts. Steer clear, especially if you're a woman.
