      Pros

      As many hours as you want Benefits for full time staff

      Cons

      Poor management. ADONs and Supervisors don’t do their jobs. Staffing is horrible; very under staffed. No RT at night and only one nurse per floor. No emergency pay or bonuses. No incentives. Nurses do the jobs of 3 people and aren’t appreciated. Full time is paid more than per diem even though per diem still doesn’t get benefits. Low pay. Union rep doesn’t do anything for nurses.

      - Administration truly cares about their employees - If you apply yourself, you'll go somewhere - creating career ladders & leadership development opportunities are a priority for management - Uplifting, team-centered, (often even fun!) work culture & office environment - Good work-life balance - Excellent benefits

      Cons

      - The “Negative Nellies” have been there for many years & it can be difficult to combat - or worse yet, absorb - their energy

      Pros

      Over the 20yrs I have develop a lot of friendships and got a lot of experience and knowledge . I also have learn about running being a supervisor and running a floor.

      Cons

      The spit shifs are very difficulty and the policies of nursing not having time off during holidays to spend with your family.
