Pros

I loved hosting parties and booking events, nothing beats putting a smile on a kids face, regardless if they're celebrating a birthday or playing golf for the first time.

Cons

Monster Mini Golf is a franchise, there is no HR team or even a corporate team for that matter, policies are usually made up and enforced by the owners alone. Owners have no idea what they are doing, most of these places have 1-2 owners as the only level of management but some places actually implement a "Supervisor" or "Key Holder" role when they no longer want to be present at their business. They have hired 16 years olds in these positions to work 12+ hour days, deal with customer complaints, and open/close the store by themselves (HIGHLY ILLEGAL). You need to get everything in writing if the management tells you something (ex. Promotion or Pay Raise) because they will ALWAYS go back on their word. They put little to no money into the upkeep of the facilities (Toilet was left broken for 2 months with a handwritten cardboard sign left on top of the lid). They never properly train their "management" members, causing good, hard working employees to become bullied to the point of quitting. Staff discounts are awful unless you like to golf by yourself for free (family + friends get $2 off). If you are a member of management you could end up being paid less than a 16 year old part timer. Any employees that threaten to quit are quickly given more responsibilities to create incentive for them to stay (ex. Letting them book parties when they can barely give a tour of the premises and have no idea what packages include). You get to deal with sexual harassment, and working past your shift until 3AM just because you can't miss out on a sale. Owners also lie to staff about how much corporate parties tip their hosts, they conceal the paperwork and then give you $10 later while keeping $50 for themselves. Owners don't know how to advertise this company to boost sales. It's like a train wreck happening in slow motion, but you just can't avert your eyes.
