Worst Company Ever!! Stay far, far, far away!!!
Pros
There are some great people here - mostly the real workers and very few in management. There is a sense of family with many of the employees. Management tries to participate in this camaraderie but are not authentic and employees see right through the facade. Products are good but overpriced and with innovative ideas that can't seem to take hold. Employees care but management, especially The Head Monster (Owner Noel Lee) doesn't care one bit about the employees. Don't be fooled - he doesn't care - AT ALL.... Benefits are decent.
Cons
Oh, where to begin? The so called "President" is a sales guy (Neal) that says yes to whoever is sitting in front of him at the time - which means several people get approvals for conflicting strategies. He comes across as a nice enough guy but he has no conviction to do the right thing. He loves to talk about himself and claims that he's usually right with his decisions - but he's not and rarely owns up to his mistakes. If he, as the President, is so right and so good as a businessman, why is this company tanking?? There is a huge additional contributing factor to the decline of this company and it's Noel Lee himself. Egotistical, megalomaniac, old timer who holds on to outdated marketing techniques that don't work. But he won't listen to anyone else. With the two of them "leading" this company, creativity, innovation, and any contribution or idea from others, are critically limited or stifled. The problem is that Monster gets under your skin. It's so dysfunctional that those who are able to leave suffer from PTSD. The environment is toxic, led by Neal and Noel as the most toxic of all. There are few managers who actually care about the employees. The good ones leave. Money is spent haphazardly. Noel likes to pull stunts to show his control over employees, like randomly deciding to lower someone's salary. There is no way I can see for this company to survive. They violate laws and good business practices constantly and cover it up.
