Pros

100% remote work if that's what you're looking for.

Cons

Horrendous workplace. Takes excellent people and quickly grinds down their confidence/will to live. CEO is ex-crypto, which probably tells you all you need to know. Purports to be a patient-first healthcare service, but is purely focussed on increasing revenue - which they're doing very effectively – and gouging more and more out of existing patients by making them buy more cannabis than they need. Despite many, many formal complaints, CEO will not get rid of upper management and said management and is now getting rid of those who moved against them. Firings and resignations are frequent and morale is non-existent with employees back-channelling constantly. Expectations are absurd, chaos is absolute and recognition doesn't exist. A few months ago they conducted a CultureAmp survey, the results of which were so toxic they never got released. Currently being sued by the TGA and I hope it causes some amount of soul-searching/changes in management. But given what I know about the place, I have zero expectation that will actually happen.

Pros

remote working & tech seems to pay above the odds - but this is how they trap you

Cons

Layoffs done in a way with no human care at all. No human care in the company at all really. "Patient first" is a farce - it's money first for the crypto bro CEO who wants global domination at any cost - except to that of his wallet of course. Constant and chaotic tech changes creates continuous stress on the clinical staff receiving the changes, let alone the tech teams having to do the changes with the rhyme or reason as to why except just "do it and do it now". Company value of "resilient" used as an excuse to sweep the incessant bullying under the rug. Nepotism in hiring and promotions means constant lack of diversity of experience in work or thought, and people who can make a difference and make this an actual functioning place leave or are fired. Mandatory monthly all hands at 5pm on Fridays that are just a self congratulatory marketing circle, feels like a slap to the departments who are struggling every day. If you have any concerns about working here after reading these reviews - listen to your gut like I should have when I read these reviews a year ago. As it's only gotten so much worse. If you have any shred of soul and feelings, do not work here. It is not good for your mental health. If you are someone who can totally disassociate from all that, then maybe you'll be fine.

Pros

You get to work from home - but the fact you are made to feel so small means that what was once your safe space (home) is now a place of stress and dread.

Cons

This has been without a doubt the WORST job I have ever had in my entire life. The people in management here should be ashamed of how they treat the staff. They are the number one reason why the company is going to continue to have these issues until nobody wants to work there. It's disheartening to witness a consistent pattern of management incompetence, resulting in unattainable deadlines and subsequent berating of employees for failing to meet them. I started to lose sleep and would wake up every single day with extreme anxiety and stress wondering if I was going to be yelled at or belittled that day. I ended up having to see a psychologist because my mental health just spiralled out of control. They offer a free mental health app subscription as an employee and its probably because their staff members all need to have counselling due to their management team's actions. Management has poor communication, barking orders and leaving things to the last minute causing chaos in the teams to reach these unachievable deadlines. There's a notable absence of constructive feedback and support from higher-ups, leaving employees feeling undervalued and unsupported. Despite numerous complaints about certain team members, no action seems to be taken against the management team, fostering a toxic atmosphere. Moreover, the alarming rate of employee turnover is indicative of widespread dissatisfaction. The stress levels within the company are reaching unbearable levels due to the lack of proper systems and the relentless pursuit of profit at the expense of our well-being. If you are desperate to get a job, I would take a job at McDonalds over this. The pay is not worth the amount of stress and toxic people you encounter - avoid.
