Pros
This is a "NO STAR" review. I have become a lesser person for walking through the door. Many post op infections. No wonder...food found on the Anesthesia med machines. Administration is horrible. Benefits not that great. Small town, small hospital full of local gossip and full of itself as an entity. Looking for new employment after my first 90 days. Be prepared for a hazing probationary period. Managers are trained, professional liars. All smiles and tell you what you want to hear, to get you on board, only to find out after you have been hired, that "I incorrectly informed you of that during your interview." Beware of the artificial smiles (and body parts!) to make it seem like a welcoming environment. It is anything but that. There are a select few that are genuine. Beware of everyone that crosses your path! And I can not describe how unprofessional the surgical staff can be, when a patient is "sedated". Making rude comments about their weight and other things too bad to mention. This is an absolutely terrible place to work, unless you were born and bred there, and your family is a farmer and most likely on the Board. Maybe the Board Members do not even know what is really going on in that hospital.
Cons
Everything. Like I said, I am a lesser person for even considering working there.
