Pros
5 months of NOT working at mosquito shield over the winter. Good co-workers who knew your struggles and were fun to trash talk with. Rain days when we weren't called in for no reason whatsoever to stand around wondering why we're wasting our time doing nothing.
Cons
Everything except being laid off and some cool people. Very dishonest about almost everything, especially pay, flexibility, and culture. After a month or two it's clear your a number on a piece of paper and nothing else. Work your butt off in the raging heat, hate every waking minute of your entire summer, do the most mind numbing brutal work, make 50% what they told you you would, and then never get a thank you, pay raise, or even a handshake when I eventually left after politely giving my 2 weeks notice. One of my biggest regrets is wasting so much time here.
