Cultural Nightmare

Pros

It might be a good temporary stepping stone in your career if culture is not important to you.

Cons

I didn't want to leave this review, but I think it's important to be honest and I wish someone had left one like this before I joined the firm. So here we go. - The firm is a cultural nightmare. They lie to candidates in the interview process to get them to accept roles because they are desperate. - Once you join, all decisions are made on politics alone. There are really talented people that don't get promoted when they should because of it and employees that are pushed out of the firm because Partners don't get along with them. - This place is full of unprofessional behavior. If I gave examples you wouldn't believe it. It's not a professional services environment to be proud of. - Long hours and under market pay. - Several people quit without notice because they don't care about burning a bridge. That is how bad the culture is here. - Made tons of cuts during the pandemic. This includes layoffs, pay freezes, and cuts. Meanwhile, they expected everyone to work harder and never rewarded them for it. - Many mergers make up the firm, especially the Central Region. The leaders were kept as part of the acquisition deal. They are stuck in the past and are very resistant to change. Even when it is for the better. It is a cultural melting pot and is not consistent between regions and offices. - High turnover and they have issues back filling due to the culture and reputation of the firm.

Pros

Monthly benefits and expense reimbursement.

Cons

First and foremost, the company furloughed 15% of their employees as a cost-saving measure and promised to secure their position once the 90 day furlough ends. However, the company ended up laying most of their employees along with cutting everyone’s pay. The company wasn’t actually going through any “financial hardship” and took this opportunity to lay people off. Nothing but corporate greed and a lack of transparency.
