Pros

A lot of good people work here.

Cons

Upper management has high turnover, is extremely political, and all live in fear of the CEO. Share a dissenting opinion at your own risk.

Pros

I wasn't micromanaged by the subsidiary where I worked (Industrial Control).

Cons

I was laid off just before receiving significant commissions on two major sales. The timing was highly questionable—especially when, shortly afterward, the company hired new sales staff despite claiming a 30% drop in sales as the reason for my termination. It’s hard not to see this as a cost-saving tactic to absorb my commissions into company profits. Since the MCE acquisition, the focus has shifted heavily toward portfolio expansion, often at the expense of the long-standing culture and operational stability. Decision-making appears erratic, with limited communication and questionable strategic logic. In my experience, some actions have crossed into ethically dubious territory. If you’re considering joining, be aware: short-term gains may be prioritized over employee loyalty, transparency, and fairness.
