Pros

I made some money in times of deep despair

Cons

Everything. They post misleading job ads, about Management, Event Coordinator, and PR jobs, but all you'll do is harass Walmart, Costco, and Sam's Club customers to have them buy overpriced and unneeded products. They'll promise you all kinds of successes and tremendous growth and income within a year, but even the manager does not make close to the entry-level income they keep on talking about. It seems as if the management of this company keeps on posting fake reviews about their scammy business to make themselves look positive, but please research Devil Corp and The Slave Circle on Google and Youtube, and you will have every single piece of real information you need about these scammers.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our company! Mountain View has a four round interview process that highlights and breaks down each phase of our training program as well as gives an individual a bird's eye view of what the position does entail, so that way all individuals going through the interview process have a clear understanding. Our job descriptions always include the sales portion of what our business does, as well as the communication strategies, marketing techniques and leadership development an individual can gain through working with our company. Furthermore, Mountain View does not have employees pay us to then sell product. We operate both legally and ethically in the South Carolina state guidelines as well as meet the guidelines provided with our clients for our retailers. Should you have any additional feedback or information regarding your experience, feel free to call our office or email us directly at management@mountainviewconcepts.com.

Pros

Good networking with few coworkers. Confidence and time management skills rose.

Cons

Claims “no hierarchy,” but it is very obvious. Claims to be a marketing company; sales job in disguise.

Thank you for taking your time to leave feedback for Mountain View Concepts, Inc. The purpose for our three round interview process is so an individual has a chance to see and learn about all aspects of our company. This includes an on-site interview, so that an individual has an opportunity to get a bird's eye view of what the day-to-day would be like. In the Event Marketing Assistant ad to which you responded to, some of the details in the ad include 'As a progressive company in the sales and marketing industry' and 'by providing personalized sales and marketing services to some of the largest retailers in the world'. With that in mind, we will make sure to touch base on the sales aspect in a little bit more detail during the initial interview. We are sorry that you did not have a positive experience with our firm, however we appreciate any and all feedback provided to us. If you do have any further questions or comments about our training, interview process, or leadership style, don't hesitate to reach out to us directly at management@mountainviewconcepts.com.

Pros

You'll start out with the rose-tinted glasses on, dreaming of becoming an owner. But the reality is there are no pros here.

Cons

Unpredictable Scheduling including every weekend Mileage to and from stores costs hundreds of dollars in gas money. Base pay is minimum wage; your commission subtracts out your hourly wages, so you don't even earn your full commission. Commission is also shared with coworkers working event with you. No benefits package or insurance plans They force you to "drink the koolaid" and if you don't, then you "don't have the right mentality" Those sales and marketing tactics that youre learning, stop and think about how they used those same tactics to lure you into this position. Turnover rate in the office was insanely high, don't bother making friends because the guy next to you will be gone next week.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for our company! Mountain View has four rounds of interviews as well as an orientation that covers all information regarding compensation, mileage reimbursements, benefits and scheduling. Due to this, each individual that interviews and/or is hired on with our company, has the opportunity to decline moving forward due to the above not aligning to this individual's needs. If you feel as though we did not compensate you for your mileage or did not provide the correct commission for the hours worked, feel free to call our office or email us directly at management@mountainviewconcepts.com.
