Beware!

Pros

- The staff and people seemed great. Everyone I interacted with was very nice.

Cons

- Hired for a new position. I started the position and was laid off THE NEXT DAY. Quit my other job and started this job just to be laid off within 24 hours. Really beware when accepting an offer from this company, and don't leave your current job without great consideration. A hiring freeze should have been in place long before layoffs.

Miserable Company

Pros

No real pros. The founders talk a good game and appear to actually care during recruitment and onboarding. Don’t be fooled by the "values" they claim. These are only for show.

Cons

Yes, there are snacks. Yes there is a VW bus in the new office space. Every leadership team member has an executive assistant to manage their email and calendar (even if that headcount could be put to much better use.) How does any of that really help the (mostly underpaid) staff do their jobs? The CEO is only concerned with his image. He is a wanna-be who tries to make his little appraisal services company look like a technology company. Considering the resources available, it realistically probably never will be. After spending excessive money to build out an unnecessarily upgraded office space for the “growing” team, he immediately laid off almost 20% of the company, with no warning, treating them like criminals in the process. The recent mass layoffs were handled very badly, with no warning, no communication, and no apologies. Apparently leadership really loved their employees until the CFO guided the company into financial difficulties. (The CFO, oddly, still has a job there.) The founders can’t tolerate anyone who disagrees with any of their misguided, sometimes immature opinions and are determined to create an echo chamber leadership team. You’ll do great on the leadership team - so long as you don’t actually have an opinion.

Big dreams but they fall short

Pros

- The new fancy office - The people, there's a lot of really talented individuals here - The flexibility - Work life balance

Cons

- They tend to ignore criticism and feedback about individuals that they like, don't take seriously the issues brought to them - Really disappointed how they handled the layoffs, very much seemed like a knee-jerk reaction; it was all about money and not talent because they let go of individuals that would have take this company far - They operate as a much bigger and more successful company than they are in reality
