      Is this Company RACIST?

      Pros

      Why would one have the impression that this company is racist? Because only 1 or 2 and maybe not more than 3 Black people work in non-clerical positions? Are there sooooo few qualified Black professionals in Metro-Detroit? (scratch your head)

      Cons

      Is the management at this company fostering racism? In an entire Company in the Metro-Detroit area, less than three (3) Black employees in (professional) or management; among the non-clerical roles? What would your assessment be of this picture? Would you find this in 2018 to be RACIST and DISGUSTING?

      #1. This person has never been employed by MOVEMENT. #2 This person said he would take the post down if we gave him money. #3. MVMT doesn't like extortion and finds this behavior disgusting.

      Pros

      They really do have the best of everything if you want to do 3rd party recruiting/headhunting. Best commission/compensation, generous company match on 401K, big parties, lot's of BBQ's in the summer. Amazing annual incentive trips (so I am told, I never qualified :(). Everyone has Linked In Recruiter access and all of the job boards, good systems in place etc. I wish I was still there!

      Cons

      Headhunting/3rd party recruiting is really tough, you need to be able to sell to clients and I wasn't able to be successful at it. The people that are there and doing well love it, but it takes a big commitment and a natural skill set to do it for the long haul.

      Pros

      Really fun environment and people to be around. All of the main managers and directors want you to make it in the business and will help develop strategies for your success.

      Cons

      Easy to get burned out if you aren't consistently making placements month after month.
