Even after reading this review if you are still joining Mphasis. Then really All the Best !!
First of All, They haven't received any appraisals from Last 3-4 years. More than 90-95% haven't received any appraisals in the last 3-4 years. HR would never tell you that. Forgot about the appraisal, they dont even pay complete Variable pay.
Second and still important, their Bench Policy is really pathetic ! And they have many projects which end 4-6 months, so don't ever think that you would never be on bench.So tIf you are on bench for more than 2 months, understand that you won't get any salary. They call it a sabbatical period where you won't get anything from the company. And worse than that is you have to come to the office everyday, if you are on a bench. And you wont get any laptop from the company. And they would still expect you to crack client rounds.So you don't have a laptop and you have to come to the office then tell me how you are supposed to study for interviews !!Worse than that the bench managers really don't care about you. They will force you to relocate to other cities if you are on bench for some time. I know many people who are on bench twice in the last 6 months due to some projects got discontinued. I know someone who has been forced to relocate to another city, he rented out his flat as he was moving away and his project ended in 2 months. He had to come back !! No support from anyone.
If you have got an offer for a Fiserv project, the recruiter or HR would never tell you that they have 5 days in office mandate and Fiserv account has a software which checks working hours on a laptop on specific applications(like Eclipse, Terminal etc). You have to complete 8 hours daily on that softwares. So by rule you have to spend 11 hours daily to achieve that. Your life would be a complete mess if you join that account. Even if you join you would not have a time in life to prepare for any further interviews and attend interviews if you want to switch the company.
There management doesnt understand technology at all.
So be aware, be away from such companies
