Pros

No limit on overtime Holiday and Sunday pay = 1.5x When staffed sufficiently, they were pretty flexible on letting you pick your days off and shifts worked If you have half a brain you'll get moved up the ladder quickly

Cons

Working with criminals and barely literate idiots Ownership/Management don't care to train new hires well Lots of tension, yelling, really high turnover rate Lots of favoritism and subjective application of rules No climate control

Pros

You're constantly doing new tasks every day, and it's a fast-paced environment that requires you to be able to turn on a dime. I'm a fast-paced person, so it's perfect. I love the people I work with, and it's a family business with great owners, who actually will come in on extremely busy days to help bag cheese curds or do projects. Management is very flexible and will try to accommodate your needs and time-off requests. You feel like an important part of the wheel, and since you work with only a small group of people, you are.

Cons

You're always standing or walking around, and the only time you sit is during your 20-minute break. Shifts are nine hours, so it's difficult in the beginning to adjust. You need good tennis shoes.

Pros

The work is very simple, don’t gotta think to much and generally not a bad/hard Job and unless you’re working whey always off sundays. If you don’t got a stick up your bum, the coworkers are really nice and helpful (sometimes more than management) and generally a ok environment to work in. One thing will say tho try to move up Fast. The better the positions the easier it is.

Cons

A-lot of small cons. It’s very hot somedays, some people are just always pissed off, and some don’t speak English which can be hard. training was really bad, you’d do your bread and butter basic stuff like cheese tables and bagging the cheese very often. But for anything new? You’d do it once every 3 weeks you can’t get better at that position unless you got a good memory it’s very weird. Management is hit or miss, either they’re really cool or they’re power hungry and pissed all the time. Also sometimes your schedule will just be bad (for people usually that have been there long.) some weeks it’s all the same, some you work at 8:45am to 4pm then 1:45am to 11am/ then 2 8:45s then a 1:45. Can’t every get a goood sleep schedule going.
