Eveything is "Managers discretion"? You can and will be targeted!

By far it's some of the people! Most of the nurses are amazing.

Pay scale is ridiculous and there is no compensation for dedication. NO PROTECTION for employees! Managers can and will target you and get rid of you and can do so based on their "discretion" Munson medical center never has had an employee advocacy process in place. A manager can write you up regardless of true or not. If you work for NMSA at MMC A company which is partially owned by Munson healthcare I feel sorry for you a manager in that department is disgraceful, she has targeted many employees and written several staff members up based on hearsay completely unprofessional in every sense of the word. If you speak up or make A complaint there will be retribution. The HR department at MMC is a joke. They claim they are neutral however less than 1% of grievances filed by employees are ever resolved in the employees favor! MMC HR is there for the management. They are not there for the employee if you are ever asked to go to HR it's like leading a pig to slaughter! Munson medical center has gotten so big and has become such an monopoly that they no longer care about their employees. They spend a ton of money on advertising and yet they can't keep staff? Bottom line is managers have way too much power they will pick and choose not based upon performance but whether they like you or not? In other words you could be a dedicated hard-working loyal employee what if your manager does not like you she will write you up for things that others do on a daily basis it's a disgrace and a shame and should not be tolerated. MMC simply hides behind their policies and claims all of their managers have integrity and dignity? If you work for any Munson healthcare agency do not speak up the matter how much they encourage you to do so! Ultimately it comes down to the manager you work for and to put blinders on and pretend that all managers treat employees with dignity and respect is just foolish. The bottom line is you have no recourse a manager can accuse you of anything and I mean anything based on nothing more than what they heard and you will be written up. Until there is a union in place to protect the employees there this practice will continue. If MMC does not want to union then they should strongly look at employee advocacy's system were a peer represents you when having to appear like a pig going to slaughter in the HR department.
