Pros
I honestly loved working here. Yeah the pay wasn’t something to write home about, but it was genuinely a great experience. It was a ton of fun strategizing with a tight-knit marketing team where everyone’s voices were heard. As a designer, it meant a lot to me that the VPs let me explore new creative avenues and run with off-the-wall ideas. And with that much freedom and exploration, some of my best work in my portfolio is from My Medic. If you’re a designer fresh out of college, you couldn’t dream of a better place to knock off your training wheels.
Cons
• I’m not sure if anything’s changed since 2021, but yeah - the pay wasn’t stellar. • The office gets a bit cold during the winter. • Everyone has ridiculously good costumes at the Halloween party so it’s virtually impossible to win the best costume contest.
