      Toxic, negative work environment

      Complimentary snacks, nice facilities, decent pay

      Cons

      Average tenure of senior employees is less than a year and industry knowledge amongst employees is very low. Turnover extremely high - about 20% per year. Good people quit or get fired with unusually high frequency. CEO runs company with fear and intimidation and there is no encouragement for new ideas or for constructive feedback to him. Productivity is low due to micro-management style and fear of doing something wrong. No performance reviews, non existent raises.

      An old start up with no career path,

      Pros

      The place is fun to work, it has a kitchen with coffee/tea machine, and lunch area. The location is convenient. Co-workers are friendly and we go out for lunch together frequently. Free company lunch every Thursday.

      Cons

      No work ethic; I always believed management should set an example. The top management, when in the office, shows up around 11am and leaves at 2/3pm. People have no incentive to do differently and therefore show up late and leave at 5pm sharp. Feels like working in a factory (clock in-clock out) where no one cares about their work. When you have a deadline, it's almost never delivered and postponed over and over again.

      Convenient work location in NYC

      Cons

      Warehouse has moved to SC Management does not have the best interest of workers in mind Stingy sick/vacation/holiday time HR are "tattletales" and will tell your manager if you voice any concerns. Company does NOT promote from within.
