My goodness, I don't even no where to begin.
In my time there I witnessed countless borderline psychotic outburst's by the owner, while none of the altercations became physical I honestly believe it is only a matter of time before he hurts himself or someone else.
The only members of senior management are ex partners therefore there is many very childish arguments between them that results in built up anger and frustration taken out on the people around them. I also results in ) accountability therefore a glaring lack of support or mentorship from any part of the leadership team.
I was lied to, berated, verbally abused and publicly humiliated.
If I could go back in time I would never have taken a position there, I would have let the offer of a base way way above normal market rates influence my decision. it is now obvious that the reason they offer rates so hi is in the hope that someone will be willing to take the abuse from the owner and stick around for longer than a few months. I can tell you from my own experience that no matter how much money they offer you it isn't worth being expose to such vile verbal and mental abuse.
Please learn from my mistakes and turn around and run away - if you have already taken the job and are reading this after the fact like I did, quit I regret not quitting after the first outburst from the owner that led me to check this site to see if other people had experienced the mental instability i had just witnessed.. it only gets worse so run... don't think just run.
