Pros
You get paid an income. The team I worked with were a really nice group of people.
Cons
I have never been made to feel useless in my job until starting at N-able. When being recruited, you are told 8 weeks of on-boarding live sessions and easy-to-watch videos to properly get into the role... Sounds great right? Well I hope you enjoy 4 weeks of no live sessions, 3 hour long videos about content that isn't relevant to you and then being thrown in the deep end with the phrase "Ask questions if you need it" blasted into your brain with no idea of what you should be asking in the first place. Because that's exactly what you get here at N-able. I was told frequently "You're doing really well, look how far you've come in X months!" Only to then be told the next day that I was doing nowhere near enough and had to improve. This company will break your confidence. Management look into every little thing you do and if it isn't exactly what they would do, the job might as well not be done. The biggest case of helicopter management I've ever seen. I feel as though I have wasted my time here as the only things I actually learned, I had to go and look for myself. But then it wasn't enough anyway.
