I have worked at NEWJ previously, and I can honestly say it has been a frustrating and demoralizing experience. The office politics here are out of control. If you're not part of the "in" crowd or don't have the right connections, don't expect to get ahead, no matter how hard you work or how qualified you are. Favoritism is rampant, with promotions and perks handed out to a select few while the rest of us are left to pick up the slack.
HR is a joke. They are unresponsive and unhelpful, more interested in protecting the company than addressing employee concerns. When issues are brought to their attention, they are often ignored or swept under the rug. There's no real support for employees, and it feels like HR exists just to tick a box rather than to provide any meaningful assistance.
To make matters worse, the company changes its policies every month, seemingly just to make our lives more difficult. These changes are often poorly communicated and poorly thought out, leading to confusion and extra work for everyone. It's as if management has no idea what they're doing, and we're the ones who suffer for it.
Overall, NEWJ is a toxic place to work. If you're looking for a job where you can advance based on your merits, where HR has your back, and where you can expect some stability and support, look elsewhere.
