Pros

You have a chair to sit on

Cons

1.Disgusting working conditions, bathrooms are constantly filthy at the hand of a couple employees- management is aware of this but since these employees bring money they dont care. This includes someone smearing their faeces on the toilet, throwing up on a door and walking away or urinating all over the toilet. 2. If you work here, get ready for nepotism at its best. You will see a 16-year-old walking around doing next to nothing, they call him an intern but he has the same salary as a junior employee. He is one of the directors sons so "its okay". They also have the CEOs daughter etc (you guessed it, doing nothing). 3. Benefits are non-existent, its laughable because they advertise benefits as "22 days of annual leave! Great work environment! Annual incentives!" when will they realise that these are not benefits? thats the bare minimum? Benefits are working from home or flexible work. 4. Absolutely no flexibility, while working there we were forced to go into the office on train strike days by any means, with no guarantee that we would get a train back home. I personally witnessed the managers state that we would not be paid if we worked from home. Unsurprisingly, many employees complained but guess what? They said they had "heard our complaints" and you know what they did? They gave all seniors 2 "emergency" WFH days A YEAR. 5. CEO is there maybe twice a year for a beer and not much more. 6. Micromanagement city. 7. "world leading training" what training? when joining you will soon realise you have no clue what is going on and no one will help you. 8. Office is full of "fresh out of school" children (i.e. cheap labour). The noise is overwhelming and makes it hard to work, managers find it funny so nothing is done, get ready to be hit with objects and screamed in your ear. 9.No flexility as mentioned yet, for some reason, a 4 hour lunch break was given for when England played in the world cup? Shows where their priorities lie. 10. Constant weird and uneducated comments about race and gender. 11. Limited culture in the office, most employees fall into your typical uneducated football fans who drink at lunch 5 times a week, they call themselves diverse but there is limited diversity in the office which makes it a very uncomfortable environment where, unless you like football and are an alcoholic, you are not welcome. 12. Commissions are laughable as company will keep 80% of the profit for 100% of the work you did. 13. Managers should take some HR courses as they struggle to handle people and understand their employees. 14. No HR department, technically they have someone but to be quite frank, this person carries out a PA role for founders rather than a head of HR, I think they dont understand the role very well, or what HR means. 15. Values are questionable, with very distasteful comments and poor treatment of others. In summary, all the employees that joined while I was there had been convinced by someone else to join, 100% regretted the decision and some even received an apology from the person for getting them this job

Pros

Absolutely NO pros. Nothing good to say

Cons

Horrible experience. Micromanagement on 1000. Company decisions are based on gossip and lies. Staff retention & welfare is nonexistent. If you are not a friend of an existing worker or someone high up you have no place there. Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy honestly.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that your first impression of Nexere was below your expectations. Nexere cares about its people and offers a range of well-being benefits that support the welfare of our staff including an Employee Assistance Programme with access to free counselling, The reason that we have a number of colleagues with friends in the company is because those people were referred to us an Employer of Choice by their friends, and we are proud of that fact. We do not see referrals as a negative, nor is it a coincidence that highly experienced colleagues have joined the business – those individuals also believe it is a good place to further their careers, and they are keen to share their knowledge and experience to mentor and coach. The senior management team has taken your comments on board and will review what else we can do to ensure that everyone without exception feels welcome, included, empowered and supported. We wish you all the best in your next steps.

Pros

The working hours aren't bad, but don't you dare ask to WFH!

Cons

A company that can't grow because it's so short sighted. Disgusting behaviour towards some of the more intelligent recruiters and team members and I'm surprised they don't have more lawsuits on their hands. Felt unsafe working there at times for various reasons.
