Pros

So hard to think of and i've tried. I guess maybe you get paid a wage.

Cons

First off, the company culture is archaic. Most of the people that worked there (especially upper management) knew each other from previous jobs.. The guy i worked under was a recovering alcohol and drug addict who routinely said homophobic and racially motivated things at work. He literally would say religious words to people and when they felt uncomfortable, he would get defensive. Put it this way, he fired 2 people from the trading team, and the 3rd literally just stood up and walked out of the job. All this happened within the space of less than a year. That should tell you what type of person the manager is. The company doesn't have an actual HR department. HR department consists of one lady who is really doing her best to manage this mad house. Because the company is not properly structured, managers feel they can do whatever and get away with it. If you need evidence of misconduct, all you have to look at is the company's history on FINRA/Broker check. They have multiple dings, multiple fines and extreme rep turnover. If that doesn't scream red flag i don't know what does.

Pros

Handful of employees were great to work with

Cons

The pay is very low even though it is a small company it is not enough to live off of. The benefits aren't great even if it is just you on the plan. Management treats a piece of gum on the bottom of there shoe way better than they treat you. Management needs to go back to school to learn how to manage. Not enough work given. Majority of the time personal issues out weighs professionalism. Management talks down on you, comes in whenever they feel and leave whenever they want. You can't go to HR to discuss issues because then it'll get back to your manager and make things worse for you. If you ask HR questions she gives you the wrong information. There are so many turnovers within the company in the same departments and nothing gets done with management. They fire you with out investigating the situation. The only way you'll advance and get a great pay increase is who you hang out with (management).
