Pros

Hard to say anything good about this unethical scam of a company, but a couple of the girls I worked with were nice enough (even tho they hinted themselves the company is underhanded in their practices

Cons

Job is a makeup artist / talent scout. First giving randoms (no criteria, anyone who has a "look"??) your card & not saying much to maintain "mystery" & "exclusitivity" to make the person feel they need to come for a "free photo shoot". THEN as a "makeup artist" these not well presented, amateur looking- but to their credit mostly nice- girls & myself (targeted of course for our youth/nativity to fall for this) would do the "makeup" of these clients. These girls had NO CLUE & no proper training (it really shows) in makeup! (The guy talked during interview how it's legal to do makeup without training here?! Dk why that wasn't red flag- shouldn't have been so naive but I was young) Poor techniques & unhygenic practices of these makeup artists made it beyond obvious the dodgy nature of this "business". The amateur looking graphic design of website should've given it away. Main thing is I WASNT PAID for the short time I stuck around working there!!, & training wasn't paid either even tho I travelled 1 hr to get there (& asked about it being paid, he gave me a floppy answer that left me confused)!!! Poorly presented manager who subtility put me down (even tho I'm VERY well dressed/groomed) to gain control over me, UNPAID, unspoken of pay, even when I hinted about it & later confronted him about it, unskilled & unhygienic makeup practices. I have written great reviews of other companies, even of similar companies, so there is no bias here, just a straight scam!!! So disappointing how they can take advantage of young people like that. (There were a couple older people I saw but they seemed as if they really needed a job, was mostly young girls.) Stay away from being employed here (even tho it's pretty easy to obtain a job, I guess cause employees leave really quickly when they realise it's dodgy & are being screwed over pay wise)!!

Pros

A couple of staff members are genuinely good people The hours - 9 to 6 - with minimal post-work required (except during busy fashion seasons: February and September)

Cons

Disorganized Egos trump common sense and work ethic Not the friendliest work environment Preach "team work" but most do not behave that way Will offer career promotions without financial compensation - meaning, they'll give you more and more responsibility but not pay you for your efforts or acknowledge a change in title Open-office environment but they're not desks - it's tables where your personal space is limited to a pencil drawer.

Pros

Nice relaxed working environment. Busy, but employees allowed to managed the working pace and prioritized the tasks. No body is watching you over the shoulder. Good for students to start their working career and old people to work quietly till the retirement.

Cons

Low salary no matter how much you work. No opportunity to grow.
