Don't be a woman or creative.

Pros

Coworkers were great and the snacks in the break room were excellent. We would also get Dunkin Donuts on Fridays, which was also a nice perk.

Cons

CEO is stuck in 1990 and hates creativity. If you're a woman , expect no respect. The men in the office will get paid more and do less work.

Pros

For the most part you'll have co-workers who have your back and you can complain to... until the CEO fires them all, because he wasted company money on a parade float or a wrap for the car that sits out front and is never used.

Cons

No work/life balance! You will be consistently told you need to work from home after hours “after you've had dinner and settled down” -- because this is not a 9-5 job. You work 8:30-5, so the company doesn’t lose a half hour while you eat lunch. Inappropriate comments about your appearance that have nothing to do with your work! Like how tired you look if you don't wear make-up. This company has made me extremely self-conscious about my appearance and how I looked going into the office, when I should have been worried about completing my work thoroughly and successfully. CEO also made inappropriate comments in the past about other employees based on their nationality. No benefits whatsoever! I chose not to take the insurance, because co-pays were too high to be worth it. No 401K, no dental insurance, no vision insurance, no specified sick days, and no union or HUMAN RESOURCES. The only perks of the office are K-cups sometimes stocked in the break room. When I purchased my house, the company wouldn’t respond to calls or emails from our loan officer. The mortgage company thought I was lying about working there! I had to give them my personal line, pretend to be the non-existent HR department, and verify my own employment. Sketchy PTO structure – 10 days off per year for vacation and sick time together. BUT... You cannot take off in summer. You cannot take off without 3 weeks notice. You cannot take off more than 5 days at the same time. When I first started, I was told I had a year from my start date to use those days. In January, a couple months later, I was told that it was 10 days from the start of the year (Jan-Dec), so anyone who didn’t use their PTO the previous year lost it. Terrible turnover rate! Worse than any sort of restaurant or fast food chain! 42 people either quit or were fired while I worked there, and I worked there for about three years. Late paychecks – You get paid a day or two late a majority of the time. Once, we were supposed to be paid on a Friday, and it didn’t go through until the following Tuesday. When I first started working there, I was paid through NGA Group and then started to get paid through Excelsoft Services. I worked for Movers.com, so neither of the companies that paid me. Some employees are allowed to work from home, and others cannot access anything unless they are in the office. Some employees can take off months at a time with no punishment while others receive pay cuts. Men will always be promoted before women even if the women worked there longer and have master's degrees. You will be forced to go to Christmas parties, birthday parties, and summer BBQs. It will be inferred that you could lose your job if you don’t attend (“Why should your company care about you if you show you care in return?”). Parties will always be after work hours with no regard to how far away you live from the area. This is not a team environment – just individuals who go to the same office. The culture is tattle before someone can tattle on you. There is little growth as a whole, because once you have a team that works well together, they’re laid off. The employees that have survived a long time always put themselves first and point fingers at the rest. ICE officers came to the office multiple times. Consultants are misclassified to get H1B visas. Interns are misclassified as “independent contractors” though they receive an offer letter that state otherwise, are trained by the staff, and receive an hourly wage in the form of a paycheck.

This review doesn't represent our company values... this purely written to target the CEO personally. We treat our team members nicely... Whoever written this, you are very wishful and untruthful.

Pros

Fun work stories to horrify your friends!

Cons

Incompetent CEO: -Regularly makes inappropriate racist and sexist comments -Asks inappropriate questions during interviews (are you married, what ethnicity are you?) -Will purposefully cancel interviews at the last minute/make interviewees wait hours to meet with him as "a test" -Hires men at higher rate than women, even if that woman is supervising said man -Micromanager -Changes mind multiple times a day/week/month, even within the same conversation -Regularly tells employees to perform personal tasks for him, like finding his children piano teachers or writing offer letters for his maid -Expects all employees to be competent at everything (I hired you as a content writer, why can't you do sales, too?) -Makes employees work on Christmas Eve but can't be bothered to come in himself -"Fun" employee outings (such as holiday parties) are mandatory, and not attending can result in termination (at least according to threats) Pitiful Benefits: -Medical only (no dental, vision or 401K) -Ten paid days off for the whole year (sick, personal and vacation combined) Shady Dealings: -Doesn't actually offer the majority of their advertised services -Business cards opened in employee's names appear on their own credit reports (which is bad when said credit cards are not paid) -Regularly threatens to switch to once a month pay periods (despite this being illegal) -Multiple visits from ICE and immigration, definitely involving all the men brought in from India -Company switched its name halfway through the year and began paying employees from a different account without warning (switched back in new year)
