No pay, no truth and no protection.

Pros

If you get a job working on your own. Great.

Cons

Workplace bullying. Far too many managers. No one knows who their line manger is. Passing the buck. Didn't get paid for three months leaving me in debt. Tesco staff choose who they employ to the great cost of NIC. They need three people per shift to work me persons full time job.

Pros

I can find nothing positive to write after witnessing a severe disintegration of family values that this company previously displayed, the review written comes from genuine disappointment.

Cons

After seven years as an Area Manager with NIC in Scotland, I feel it’s important to share my experience. Despite long-standing commitment, I was left disheartened by an organisation that, in my view, lacks compassion, fairness, and accountability. The most painful part was witnessing the treatment of a terminally ill colleague whose appeal process was deliberately delayed until it became time-barred. He passed away shortly after, denied the justice he deserved. Senior leaders were directly involved in decisions that, in my opinion, were unethical and deeply disappointing. I reached out twice to the company’s owner, but received no response—his silence spoke volumes. What was once portrayed as a family-oriented and supportive company proved to be the opposite. Prospective employees should approach with caution. In my experience, when integrity was needed most, NIC chose silence, delay, and self-preservation over doing what was right.

Pros

None what so ever don’t work here

Cons

The whole job was poor wrong pay had to wait 6 weeks for first pay and they always keep 2 weeks in areas no training no cosh used for cleaning products. Location was filthy as not been cleaned properly for a long time lots of dirt under shelving and also food products under shelves going mouldy.
