Shocking program - no development opportunities, international placements, project rotations are often non-existent; no structure / planning, penny pinching wherever they can, and genuine lack of care for your career.
Despite a long and arduous program, graduates can find themselves developing next to no useful skills or knowledge that they can bring to their next role in consulting (because most of the work is market research).
Meritocracy (or lack thereof) - above all else , everything at NMG is based on whether the partners like you; combination of this and constant attrition across all teams / locations means that you are left with dead-weight, bottom of the barrel talent managing promotions and projects
Not many companies have great graduate development programs in practice, but NMG does it so poorly that it must be called out
