Despite consistently performing well and receiving positive feedback from my direct supervisor, my manager who was not closely involved with the company I worked with as a contractor gave me low scores in my performance review. My efforts, including collaborating with colleagues in Australia and adjusting my schedule to resolve issues, were not recognized. I also feel that the email I sent documenting and explaining my contributions was not read; instead, they chose to rely on the perspective of someone they had worked with personally.
Additionally, the notice period to leave the company was very short, making the transition difficult. While I sought legal support to ensure my rights, the overall evaluation felt disrespectful and did not reflect the value I brought to the company.
