Pros

decent work/life balance. good benefits package.

Cons

systemic racism, homophobia, transphobia, maintenance and security and service workers treated with suspicion, disgust, and contempt. bad pay. culture of surveillance, threats and retribution against employees who challenge workplace discrimination or mistreatment. good luck getting a promotion or moving around departments if you're not white or cis.

Pros

Great location, access to art exhibitions and unique events, educated curatorial staff.

Cons

Offices are in the basement with no windows, and you get the sense you are a prisoner. The erratic, aloof warden and pathological Financial/Operations CO are entertaining; it's like watching Orange is the New Black. When they randomly set their sights on you though, it's not so amusing. Steer clear; they have a revolving door for one main reason: they DO NOT value employee contribution.
