Management will throw you under the bus to avoid taking any responsibility themselves. The offices are located in quite possibly the most boring and uninspiring part of Silicon Valley. To get the sale, the company advertises features to clients that do not exist, so then the product team is in a panic to cobble something together. Certain C-level execs talk really loudly to convince you that they are credible; give it some time though and it becomes clear that they are all talk and little action.
