      Pros

      Greatly rewarding work supporting the President, Vice President and National Security Adviser. Great teammates in the NSC and across the government, committed to a common mission. Once in a lifetime opportunity (most employees are on short detail from other government agencies).

      Cons

      Long hours. Most employees are always 'on duty' because of world events. Not much in the way of support structure, due to the small size of the organization (relative to large government departments or agencies).
