Good people & technology, bad culture and management

Pros

The financial terms are great, the company holds lots of events for the employees, gives away presents, many happy hours, benefits, good bonus plan etc. The technology is amazing, high-end and very interesting products. There are also some great people on the working level.

Cons

Even though there are so many benefits, and the products and technology are interesting, I wouldn't recommend to any of my close friends to work there. The problem starts and ends with management, very bad management. It almost feels as if the company tries to blind the employees by throwing at them benefits all the time, but it doesn't help. Turnover rate is very high. If you are over one year at the company - you are considered a senior employee, and that's because many good people come, find out what's going on, and leave. It's all about politics and playing the game. The company culture is like what you see in "The Wolf of Wall Street". You get appreciated or promoted if you play the game, party like crazy, suck up to management etc... Not based on your skills. There's also a lot of nepotism, specially people related to upper management. Most of the managers - from junior to senior level - are mediocre/unethical. There is no place for feedback, honest criticism or efforts of making things better. It's "my way - or the highway", either you will be a "yes-man" of the managers, or you won't be there. The only thing keeping the company successful is the amazing technology and products, since there are still some great people on the working level that honestly care. Lately there were also some internal rumors regarding unethical misuse of the technology by the clients. It's a shame since there is so much potential, and it could have been a great company, but currently, it's not a company for honest, moral, ethical good and hard working people.

Pros

Company mentioned on the news for 15 seconds every 2 years Good salary Nice office

Cons

Zero fraternity among employees Inter-organizational collaboration lacks proper processes. The product could disappear in a split-second Game of the Thrones - ego and power conflicts in management level. Constantly being hammered with 'our tools are only used for good' Bro culture is encouraged
