Pros

If you are looking for just a brand on your CV and you are ready and desperate to tackle everything; go ahead. If you are not one of those smart or hard workers, but through various tactics, you can still survive in an organization; go ahead. Rest I don’t have any more reasons.

Cons

Earlier I thought I won't waste any time on giving any review or highlight any issue that I (and plenty of other ex-employees had faced); but I think it's an opportunity that I shouldn’t waste in terms of highlighting the working culture of Nalli (and more for nalli e-commerce), which might help a few taking a career decision.  PS: I was a fool, not taking these reviews seriously before joining.  The outside Façade of Nalli, a 90-year-old brand is grand and big, but from the inside its small and hollow in all the aspects. The working culture and most importantly the so-called leadership and management are “good-for-nothing”. Favoritism, prejudice, micro-management is part and partial of everyday work. And the worst part is “they” are aware of it, still nothing changes. The only constant change is the team. New people come and then leave. And it’s a cycle. The attrition rate is sky-high. The policy of “Hire-fast & Fire-fast” supports it very well. The role clarity would never be there, so forget what you actually expertise in. Few employees are there who don’t do much and they have their ways of sustaining; but if you are a smart or a hard worker, maybe this isn’t a place for you. Since I have already mentioned a few things above, summarizing it: If you are looking for a career, don’t join, as sustaining in a negative environment is draining. Management isn’t professional enough to respect you, your talent or skills, or your time. No direction at all, on a day-to-day basis strategy changes & overnight objective changes. No motivation to work. Copying someone's point: “lead by a highly unprofessional lady” supported by an equally unprofessional man.

Pros

- Hiring firing culture - Higher management should focus on business but their narrow mind does not let them focus on anything apart from employee politics - Hiring is the biggest problem that goes unseen in the company. They hire the wrong people who do not fit the role and later ask them to leave - They fires people thinking they are incompetent but they have to look at themselves in the mirror. If there is anyone in the entire company who is the most unproductive and incapable, it is the higher management. Someone please give them a reality check. - Employees are treated badly by the management and insulted in front of the whole office (Harvard failed to teach them basic people skills) - Higher management’s style of managing the company depends on their mood swings - Micromanagement to the next level - Too much pressure - Very weak upper management - Not capable of running the company at all - Not everyone is treated the same. Only a few people in the company are given importance, the rest are treated badly - Management statements can change at any time and there can be a turn around to frame you as a culprit. - People are working to find someone to blame to increase their points (they are not working for the good of the company) - Employees are targeted if they do mistakes, they are not given a chances to rectify those mistakes - Attrition is high compared to the industry, but this problem is neglected and never discussed upon - Higher management never want to settle with a team to build a better future for the company, their aim is not big for the future because they keep wasting time in employee politics, few e.g.. are - who has come late, who has taken how many sick leaves, why that employee is not on his/her seat, number of breaks taken, what they do all day etc. You can imagine an organization whose focus is on these things, how would it grow ?? It will go down the drain soon if this continues. - Current employees if you are reading this please get yourself a job somewhere, you can be the next scapegoat - Employees are not let to complete their notice period also and asked to leave before that, they don't understand that people have responsibilities to take care of.
