      Some good people are actually trying to make this company grow. Has potential if tough choices are made.

      Cons

      Overstaffed small company. No advancement potential. Continually cutting focus. In for some tough times.

      Pros

      Incredibly innovative PhD leading the new technology development. Super open-minded and thrives on exploring new ideas and directions, both in theory and in the lab.

      Cons

      COO is not interested in running a high quality company built on any sort of ethics or mission. If you want to work tirelessly to improve the dying company’s bottom line, you will love it. Alternately, if you want to believe in the work you do and feel accomplished and proud of what you bring to the table, Nanophase will not be a good fit. Also, the pay is abysmal compared to industry standards - a tiny, failing company that wouldn’t offer you fair pay even if it could.
