Toxic environment overshadowing decent people and work-life balance
Pros
Some decent people. Tech will eventually be competitive. Life / work balance ok'ish.
Cons
Look, if you need a job and Nasuni offer you one and you have no other alternatives - then it can be a reasonable place to work for a while, but eventually the toxic environment will get to you. It's a story as old as time - a great company gets bought be VC's and before long culture is completely destroyed and replaced with a very toxic work environment. VC's seem to employ the worst of people. At interview ask the - why is the average tenure in sales lower than the industry average. Why are the top performers leaving in droves? The answer is a very toxic CRO and his minions throughout the company. Also - there was very little investment in the SaaS platform and Nasuni was a single product company for a long time. But it worked. The VC's have rushed updates to market through acquisition & rushed development - so now you are left fire fighting problems with your customers.
