Pros

I have worked at a lot of places and the people at this organization are amazing. Almost everyone I've engaged with is committed, passionate and mission - driven.

Cons

Dealing with conflict day in and day out takes a toll, so I've seen the team really focus on self-care and other means of support so that we all stay engaged and excited about this work. When you engage in good self-care you start to really recognize the long-term benefits of what we're doing and it's life changing.

Pros

Healthiest work environment I have ever worked at, everyone practices what they preach in their trainings and they speak with dignity and respect to each other. Decent size company where you have enough room to grow and try on new skills, but not so small where long work days are common. I never realized what a work place “green flag” it was to notice everyone had time for hobbies and passions outside of work, travelled often, and left the office on time most days. Great work in the non profit sector that makes you feel great about the work we do! I think the low salary reviews may be outdated and are the only things bringing the reviews down, but all California jobs now list pay ranges so it’s a moot point now.

Cons

Some departments are new and grew quickly and may not be as well established and staffed fully as older departments yet.
