Pros

Every review that is good on here is fake. They are complete scamming slimballs. Read their yelp reviews and see what they do to customers. They treat employees horrible ruling with fear and manipulation. They will constantly change the commission structure so that you don’t get it.

Cons

They give a few employees extra duties and make them think they are managers without paying them. Next thing you know, you’re being micromanaged in the most insulting way by people with way less knowledge and experience. Run. Read the yelp reviews and know this place is absolutely awful. They violate dozens of federal labor laws.

Pros

1. Good income. 2. Pleasant customers. 3. Freedom to take care of personal business around your work schedule.

Cons

1. Commission only, zero benefits. 2. Some customers are belligerent. 3. Drive over 2,500+ miles every month, occasionally to very rough neighborhoods. 4. Vehicle is packed full with over 80 large flooring product sample boards, rendering it useless for anything else. 5. Receive only one or sometimes even zero leads for the day, making it impossible to perform the required 15 leads a week, negating any additional weekly/monthly bonus potential. 6. Leads for tomorrow’s work schedule arrive late the night before between 9:30pm-10:00pm, making it difficult to plan your days ahead. 7. Sales managers get mouthy on the phone and question why isn’t the homeowner buying today while you make the required multiple calls to the office for price drops, even after the customer has expressed zero interest in buying today at any price in which they begin to get upset and tell you to leave their house. 8. Those calls to the office to reduce the price will also reduce your commission- down to 3-4%, which is extremely low for the amount of work put in. Many home improvement sales positions in other areas of the home will reward you with 12-15% commission. 9. Try to take a day off and you’ll be questioned by the owner as to why. 10. Any review on here that states: ‘If there were any cons, I do not recall them.’ or ‘None that I can remember.’ or ‘There are none that I am aware of.’ is obviously a fake review as evidenced by Glassdoor’s Alert to warn job seekers of National Floors Direct attempt to inflate reviews.
