Pros

Some colleagues are genuinely talented, but have to dull-down their abilities to fit in with a mediocre-performance culture.

Cons

Leadership culture prizes control and optics over coaching and growth Micromanagement instead of trust; little room for creativity or initiative Toxic behaviors tolerated, even when well documented, creating a hostile environment Culture of "best job ever" is built on gimmicks (Halloween contests, summer ice cream trucks, raffled baseball tickets) rather than meaningful support and career growth No real accountability at a senior level for bullying, favoritism, or sexual harassment High turnover 2022-2025, losing strong contributors who move the needle Financially unstable due to poor management decisions, creating job insecurity Chairman and CEO are well beyond retirement age. Likely preparing to sell or dissolve.

Horrible

Pros

Health insurance is generous. Ice cream on Fridays in the summer.

Cons

Rampant misogyny, Raises don't keep up with costs of living. The HR team spends more time critiquing wardrobe than supporting growth or development. The marketing team doesn't know the definition of strategic planning. The product development team decides on a product then reverse engineers it to an audience rather than building based on a proven product development methodology. It's basically a mom-and-pop operation run on personality and favoritism. Related to the owner? Guaranteed a job, even if you aren't very good. I hated every second of it.

Sexual Comments and no diversity.

Pros

I'm still thinking about this. Benefits???

Cons

The c suite likes to discuss women's looks. One discussed a woman's butt, and another one sexually assaulted a coworker I heard. You won't see many influential women in a position of power. All men. With women figureheads. Diversity is LACKING at higher positions. Plenty of minorities in lower positions though! Have you heard "white is right?" Well.... Also the CEO, Tom Heyman went to Israel to visit the army during one of those parties they have when they let off artillery while dancing around. It's sick.
