Pros

Paycheck CAN be good IF the markets good or if you work 80+ hrs a week.

Cons

A laundry list. No one cares about you here. Seriously if you're looking to work here and need a job, don't and spare your dignity and self-respect. Every man for themselves environment. No communication. Zero and I mean ZERO organization. Meetings scheduled and cancelled 30 minutes before. Managers don't care about you unless you're making them a ton of money. No positive reinforcement whatsoever. Terrible and hostile environment. They claim its a world class 4 month amazing training program. It's literally so far from it. You never know what your doing because you aren't trained. They don't even tell you how you get paid for how commission works until months in and tell you half truths about how it works. Sleezy environment and upper management doesn't care about you or the customers. They hire people with little experience so they can manipulate you and feed you lies and what you want to hear. Worst most unprofessional work experience I have ever had and could not recommend it less. I really hope to see this company go up in flames.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear your time at one of our branches was not what you expected. Our company’s executive leadership place a priority on being transparent, available to any employee who has a complaint, idea, or suggestion, but most of all, the leadership team prides themselves in being servant leaders. Leadership approaches each day with a growth mindset, not only for the business, but for each employee. We believe if our employees have the resources and support to grow their skills, everyone becomes stronger.

Pros

For a time it was a nice place to work. Pay was nice compared to other lenders and their benefits were okay.

Cons

We went from great management, to no management. For a year we were left to carry the department on our own. They ended up laying off a group then dumped all their work on us. After months of completing multiple job functions (with great #’s in all areas, they laid off the rest of us. The new manager they hired didn’t even look up once while we were getting laid off. They told us to try and get another position inside the company. I reached out twice to the new manager and never even got a response. They then maid me pay the full amount for benefits even though they were giving me 3 days of those benefits. We were swamped with work before I left (covering multiple job functions) so PTO wasn’t an option at the time. Once they laid me off they didn’t even try taking care of me and chose not to pay me over 90 hours of PTO. When I tried discussing options with them, the HR people seemed annoyed and brushed me off. There were other factors in my life that made it the worst possible time for me (while also supporting 2 young kids), which they knew and it couldn’t have mattered less. Outside of a few great coworkers I met at Nations, I was severely disappointed how I was handled after the devotion and professionalism I gave them.
